The Royal College of Health Technology Umuahii Obi Mbieri Mbaitoli L.G.A Imo State, Nigeria is an Institution of Higher Learning.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

the school philosophy is found on the principles of National Health Policy which is primary health care driven and aims at the establishment of a comprehensive health care system that is promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative and affordable to every citizen of the country with the available resources, so that individals and communities are assured of productivity and social well being.

SCHOOL OBJECTIVES

To organize appropriate training programmes (courses, seminars and workshops), for health personnel in the state, local government and other agencies that
may require such as consultancy services. To conduct research in relevant health and health related activities.

INTRODUCTION
In October 1988, the federal government of Nigeria lunched a national health policy. The bedrock of that is primary care.
A proposal therefore for the establishment of this Royal College of Health Technology, was born out of the growing need for manpower development in public health profession especially now that emphasis is on preventive medicine than curative.
Royal College of Health Technology is an organization appropriate training programs (courses, seminars and workshops), for health personnel in the state, local government and other agencies that
may require such as consultancy services. To conduct researches in relevant health and health related activities.
Royal College of Health Technology was accreditated to fully function as Community health sciences in December 2018. In pursuance of the objective of “Health is Wealth”.

General Entry Requirements

Before being admitted to a course for Certificate program or National Diploma program, a candidate must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of the school and must normally also satisfy where applicable, the special course requirement of the particular department to which entry is sought, as set out in the department entry requirements.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES

The minimum entry qualification for all certificate programs shall be, at least 5 passes in SSCE, WASC, GCE or its equivalent in not more than two settings.

DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

The minimum entry qualification for all diploma program shall be at least five(5) credits in relevant subjects in WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
