Royal College of Health Technology, was born out of the growing need for manpower development in public health profession especially now that emphasis is on preventive medicine than curative.
Royal College of Health Technology is an organization appropriate training programs (courses, seminars and workshops), for health personnel in the state, local government and other agencies that
may require such as consultancy services. To conduct researches in relevant health and health related activities.
Consequently in 2016 the college started the process of accreditation with the community health practitioners registration board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) in pursuit of Degree 61 of 1992 Abuja which was unsuccessful, and again in 2018, the school board of directors and proprietors resumed the process of accreditation and was duly approved and letter of accreditation was issued to the school on the 8th of January, 2018.
Accordingly the board of director and the school proprietor are pleased to inform this board that this college was duly accredited on the 8th January, 2018. The school accordingly was dedicated and resumed normal lectures and business on 17th September, 2018, with all the college staff
The school philosophy is found on the principles of National Health Policy which is primary health care driven and aims at the establishmemet of a comprehensive haealth care system that is promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative and affordable to every citizen of the country with the available resources, so that individuals and communities are assured of productivity and social well being.
