ACADEMIC SESSION

The institution runs in semesters ie two semesters in one academic session. A semester shall run for 16 weeks and shall be followed by holidays of one month.

ADMISSION OF STUDENTS

Admission into the school shall be by the following modes:

  • Entrance Examination: Candidates wishing to be admitted into the Royal College of Health Technology, Umuahii Mbieri, Owerri Imo State, through entrance examination are expected to pass a competitive entrance examination and interview conducted by the school.
  • Direct Entry: Candidates seeking admission by direct entry should present themselves for the interviews and by transfer.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ENTRANCE

EXAMINATION: The advertisement shall be published in the month of January every year.

ENTRANCE EXMANINATION FEE: Candidates wishing to be admitted into the Royal College of Health Technology, Umuahii Mbieri, Owerri Imo State, are expected to pay the prescribed examination fees. The prescribed fees shall be stated in the entrance examination advert and such other means as may be appropriate.

INTERVIEW(S): Interview shall be conducted in July of every year to enable the successful candidates report to the institution in September.

OTHER REQUIRMENTS

  1. Physical fitness: candidates to be admitted into Royal College of Health Technology, Umuahii Mbieri, Owerri Imo State, are those that are not mentally handicapped, and have no physical deformity that will impair performance in both outdoor and indoor activities
  2. Medical Examination: Successful candidates shall be expected to present certificates of medical fitness obtained from a government hospital in Owerri Imo State before the registration of the candidates.

DISCIPLINE

The school expects students to behave at all times in a manner creditable to the good name of the Royal College of Health Technology, Umuahii Obi Mbieri Owerri Imo State.

Regulations for the maintenance of discipline and order in the school shall be published from time and students are required to take notice of these regulations and observe them. Students should note that regulations relating to halls of residence and school library have the same force as the school regulations and any branch of these regulations may be dealt with as a branch of school discipline. A student shall be liable in case of misconduct to such punishment as school authority shall impose. A student will also be required to make good to the satisfaction of the school any damage he /she may cause to the school property.
